5 Ways to Poop Like a Rockstar

No one likes to be pressed heading to work  or during workout. Making pooping an almost regular routine for most people before going out for the day’s duty. Often, individuals find it difficult to poop, which can get uncomfortable. You want to wake up going to work feeling fresh, happy and lighter, not all mumbled up in a grumpy discomforting poop.

But how then can you poop like a rockstar? Without all the hassles and difficulties. We’ve also provided some helpful ways to keep your digestive system healthy and always stay on schedule. Here are some of the 5 top ways to poop like a rockstar.

1.  The Hot Water Routine

This is one of the simplest and most common ways to free up your stomach and get a smooth pooping session. Hot water helps to flush out the digestive tracts.

So how does this work? When you wake up in the morning, sip a glass or two of hot water. Cold water works too but it wont get the job fast- if you are looking for a fast approach.

Take a glass of hot water before doing anything else. I’m not asking you to gulp down the entire glass, just take a sip at a time and watch the magic happen.

Another better way to aid your pooping process is by adding some fresh ginger into the water. Ginger is a great anti-inflammatory agent that can help contract your bowels and cause pooping discomfort.

You use chopped ginger, greated, blended into fine paste, whichever way works best for you. Add it to the water and drink. You can preserve some extra in the fridge for emergencies.

In case you are running out of time, you can chew some ginger. Sometimes, chewing can trigger the process faster.

2.  Squat It

Whether you like it or not, your body position determines whether you are going to poop or not. Why? The digestive system is made of several sphincters which act as guards to what enters and leaves the stomach and intestines.

For example, the pyloric sphincter is the opening between the small intestine and the stomach. When food goes from the stomach into the small intestine, the sphincter prevents any backward movement of the substance.

There’s also the anal sphincter which uses gravity to remove waste from the body. When you squat, the sit bone separates and gives room for the sphincter to expand allowing waste to pass through. It’s similar, during labor and delivery women are advised to squat as it helps to open the pelvis and helps the baby pass more freely.

There are also squatty pots you can use. They come in various positions for optimum position and free release. Toilet seats can also serve, but it’s preferred if you are at home.

3.  Eat Liquids

If you must maintain a regular bowel movement then you must learn to always include liquids in your meal.

Thick leafy smoothy is a great option. It contains lots of fiber and provides your body with the necessary liquid needed to induce pooping.

Bone broth is another poop inducing pro. It is filled with lots of vitamins and minerals, including amino acids which acts as anti-inflammation. Mix some of this in your flask to work or the gym and randomly sip on it. It will keep your body hydrated.

Taking soup and stew also increases your liquid intake. Throw in some bones to add flavor. You can make stew base when taking root vegetables, beef, seaweeds, or dark leafy green. That way, you can still enjoy the meal alongside getting a great body liquid.

4.  Eat Fiber-rich Food

Fiber meals are great for punching out waste products. They prevent constipation and leave the large intestine undigested, filled and ready for release. When fiber food ends up in the large intestine, they absorb a huge source of bacteria which causes the discomfort and reduces constipation.

If you are not a fan of fiber meals, you can start cultivating it slowly into your diet to avoid any side effects. However, taking meals high in fiber may not work for everyone. It is best to do your research and speak to your doctor to prescribe the best approach that can work for persistent constipation.

A quick high-fiber meal you can opt for is stewed apple. It’s easy and simple to make. In a pan, heat up some ghee, and include chopped apple, cardamom, raisins, cloves, nutmeg and some flavor. It’s sweet and appealing and very handy during cold mornings.

Chia porridge is another go-to high fiber meal. Soak your chia seeds, I usually have mine soaked for an hour before eating them. Then add some plant based protein (these are high in fiber and you can get those with chocolate flavor), including flax meal, fiber and nutty for fun.

Some high fiber meals are carrots, kidney beans, broccoli, lentils, chickpeas, brussels sprouts, sweet potatoes, oats, quinoa, etc.

5.  Psyllium Husks

When everything doesn’t work, you can go for Psyllium husk. This is one of my favorite emergency pooping go-tos. It is made from the seed of Plantago Ovata. When taken, the prebiotic seed creates a bulky fill in the digestive system and helps to absorb excess water and induce poop.

To make things much easier, you can introduce it in your everyday meal. However, if you must take psyllium husk, ensure to follow the instructions on the label. Improper consumption with the right amount of water can lead to abdominal pain, cramps, diarrhea and bloated stomach, and nausea.

You can also look out for any allergic reactions, but this is a rare case.

Conclusion

Trying out these 5 ways to poop like a rockstar will sure give you good results, but ensure to go slowly. Don’t outdo yourself. Self poop stimulation is also a great way and works a great deal, but you must be relaxed to get the result. This is true especially with a sensitive body, don’t force it.

Just add in a little coaxing, experimentation and body awareness, and watch as you poop like a rockstar.
